Scouts and Guides play an important role in nation building. Scouting is an educational movement based on open air games. Scouts and Guides learn through play way methods which brings integral development in the child. They become good leaders as well as good followers and true citizens of the country. They always remain physically fit and mentally alert and morally upright. They become self reliant and face the challenges of life confidently with motto of 'Be prepared' and 'Service to others'. The total change of attitude that comes in the children through Scouting makes the parents and country feel proud of them. The sustained activities of scouting movement are always an interesting and amusing project for the students and a solution to the parents' worries. Students from class VI are enrolled to  the Scouts and Guides

The Vidyalaya has a  full team of Scout Masters and Guides Captains.

The vidyalaya scouts & guides unit consists of 2 troups each with a total of 102 scouts &70 guides each. Regular troup meetings are conducted on every wednesday during MPT period. Patrol system of training is being done for the activities. Activities are allotted to different bases where training on various subjects are done
